ATLANTA (AP) — Georgia's Senate passed a bill Tuesday that would revive a new commission that some Democrats say is aimed at disrupting Fulton County District Fani Willis' prosecution of former President Donald Trump. “This has never been about the district attorney from Fulton County,” Robertson said on the Senate floor. However, the panel was unable to begin operating after the state Supreme Court in November refused to approve rules governing its conduct. Robertson's bill and a separate bill approved by the Georgia House of Representatives remove the requirement that the state Supreme Court approve the rules. The state Senate voted for the change 29-22, mostly along party lines.

The depth in England's squad was apparent though as they controlled the contest to give Scotland a reality check. "The first half we didn't really get started and England dominated the ball," Scotland boss Steve Clarke told Channel 4. SELF-DESTRUCTEDScotland self-destructed soon after when they failed to clear their lines and Robertson played the ball straight to Bellingham who rifled a shot past Angus Gunn. Bellingham then rounded off a great display with a slide-rule pass to Kane who finished with his trademark precision.

Google cofounder Larry Page took back control of his flying-car company Kittyhawk last year. One employee told Anderson it would take three weeks to get ahold of one particular component they needed. "When I told [Larry] three weeks, he was not sympathetic and immediately told me I was wrong," Anderson said. I don't know that you're wrong, but Larry Page tells me you're wrong. "Please ignore Doug's email," Thrun responded in a follow-up email to the company.
LONDON, April 26 (Reuters) - A bullet header from Joel Matip gave Liverpool a 2-1 Premier League win over West Ham United that moved them above Tottenham Hotspur and back into the European places after a frenetic end-to-end game at the London Stadium on Wednesday. After having a shot blocked a minute earlier, Matip got the winner in the 67th minute when he powered home a close-range header from Andy Robertson's corner. "When a player lunges in the box, it's different from a slip, it's different from trying to break your fall. When you lunge in the box, your arms out, it was a penalty kick," he told BT Sport. The loss brought an end to a run that saw West Ham take seven points from three games and dropped them one spot to 14th, five points ahead of Leicester City in 18th place.
A police raid on a bar just outside of London renewed a debate over racist dolls. But despite the long history of the racist trope, the debate over the doll's place in British culture continues. Revellers take part in the Children's Parade at Notting Hill Carnival in London, Britain, August 28, 2022. But it does appear that there is some gradual shift in public opinion happening with the dolls. Nevertheless, the enduring popularity of the blackface doll creates the impression "that we live in a post-racial society," Scott said.
Increasing global demand for liquefied natural gas over the next few years will help shares of New Fortress Energy more than double, according to Deutsche Bank. The firm initiated coverage of the natural gas company with a buy rating, and analyst Chris Robertson set his price target at $60 per share, implying 110% upside from last Thursday's close. "As such, we believe natural gas will be an important bridge fuel in the coming years as combustion of natural gas results in ~50% less carbon emissions [than] traditional coal combustion." Deutsche anticipates New Fortress Energy earnings will grow by more than 235% from 2022 to 2025. To be sure, Robertson's estimates assume that New Fortress Energy secures more of its volumes on period contracts rather than selling on the spot market.

The second half was a far less entertaining affair, however, as Scotland failed to build on their advantage. But Steve Clarke's substitutions eventually worked as McTominay doubled the lead in the 87th minute. McTominay then scored again in added time when Cyprus failed to clear a cross into the box, with Robertson laying the ball into the path of the midfielder to score. Scotland next play Spain on Tuesday when Cyprus visit Armenia.

A trader works on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) in New York City, August 29, 2022. After a tumultuous year for financial markets, Standard Chartered outlined a number of potential surprises for 2023 that it says are being "underpriced" by the market. Eric Robertson, the bank's head of research and chief strategist, said outsized market moves are likely to continue next year, even if risks decline and sentiment improves. He warned investors to prepare for "another year of shaken nerves and rattled brains." As such, he named eight potential market surprises that have a "non-zero probability" of occurring in 2023, which fall "materially outside of the market consensus" or the bank's own baseline views, but are "underpriced by the markets."
Former Cerebral CEO Kyle Robertson just notified the company that he may be gearing up for a lawsuit. Robertson was pushed out in May amid concerns about Cerebral's prescribing practices. Called a "books and records" letter, it demands that the company allow Robertson to access information from the mental-health startup's files in preparation for a potential lawsuit. A Cerebral spokesperson said that Robertson's claims are "categorically untrue and baseless in law and in fact." In the letter, Robertson says that he also wants to investigate an improper valuation of the company's stock and allegations that he was discriminated against on the basis of his LGBTQ status.
Ovechkin's power-play goal at 8:55 of the second period came in his 1,287th game with Washington, snapping a tie with Hockey Hall of Famer Gordie Howe. Anthony Mantha set up that goal and scored one of his own before the Coyotes stormed back. Ritchie's first goal of the game sailed just under the crossbar and over the goal line to forge a tie at 9:45. Zetterlund's second goal of the game also snapped New Jersey's eight-game losing streak to Calgary. Gourde finished with a goal and two assists, Tanev added an assist, and Vince Dunn also scored for the Kraken.
The embattled startup hired against unprofitable growth, Jess Muse, Cerebral's president, said. Cerebral, she said, paid more money on advertising to bring in new patients than it recouped by providing mental-health services and prescriptions. Prioritizing turning a profitCerebral leaders held a series of staff meetings on Monday. During the Monday staff meetings, at least two employees expressed concerns about the increased workload, since remaining staff are taking on patients of those who were laid off. It's time to get rid of managers. All of them.

What would happen if a company completely got rid of middle managers? In 2012, the publishing company Medium restructured its organization and moved away from centralized management power. The model gets rid of managers and spreads their responsibilities across different roles, giving average workers more of a voice. The reality is that psychological safety isn't intrinsically available to everyone, and holacracy doesn't have anything in it to ensure that safety." It's true that holacracy doesn't eliminate the power structures determined by characteristics such as race, gender, age, and sexuality.
